My name is Samantha “Sammie” Burggraf. I am a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist. In 2015, I graduated from East Carolina University with a Master’s Degree in Substance Abuse and Clinical Counseling. I have obtained further training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Seeking Safety, and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT). I have also completed training to be a Certified Clinical Supervisor and assist new clinicians enhance their therapeutic skills and develop their confidence in the field.

My experience includes working with individuals who have substance use and mental health concerns. During this time, I have been able to utilize motivational interviewing, seeking safety, CBT and DBT skills to help individuals live a life that is fulfilling and joyful. Over the years, I have gained clinical experience working with individuals to address addiction issues, family and relationship issues, and general life transitions.

I am an enthusiastic and energized therapist passionate about helping individuals improve their lives through self-acceptance, accountability, and skill development. I strive to provide an environment that is compassionate and accepting that allows for growth.
